Wilder Woods sets the stage for 'The Curioso Tour' with new singles, collaborations

Step into the curio cabinet as Wilder Woods steps back into the spotlight.

Bear Rinehart, best known as the powerhouse frontman of NEEDTOBREATHE, is hitting the road with his soulful solo project for The Curioso Tour, and fans in the D.C. area can catch the show at the 9:30 Club on March 15, 2025. The tour celebrates his upcoming third album, Curioso, which drops on February 7, 2025.

Rinehart has been teasing the new album with a steady stream of singles that showcase a range of musical styles. The latest, “Offering,” released on November 21, 2024, features Anna Graves and has quickly become a fan favorite, jumping to Wilder Woods’ second-most-popular track within days of release (at the time of writing).

The hauntingly tender duet follows earlier singles like the laid-back neo-soul groove of “Time On My Hands,” the stomping rocker “Hide Anymore,” and the rootsy “Devil In My Eyes.”

While Wilder Woods' Curioso is the newest iteration of music from Bear Rinehart, he’s far from stranger to the stage. As the lead singer of NEEDTOBREATHE, Rinehart has spent nearly two decades leading one of the most celebrated bands in modern rock, with Grammy nominations, chart-topping albums, and electrifying live performances under his belt. With classic favorites like “Brother” and new collaborations like “Banks” with Jordan Davis, the band built a loyal following with their blend of heartfelt lyrics and anthemic melodies.

Since (the somewhat-mysterious) launching of Wilder Woods in 2019, Rinehart has carved out a distinct identity as a solo artist, blending soulful storytelling with his unmistakable vocals. His self-titled debut introduced fans to a more intimate and introspective sound, with tracks like “Supply & Demand” and “Sure Ain’t.” Since then, Wilder Woods has continued to evolve, building a catalog that seamlessly bridges his roots with fresh creative directions.

Curioso promises a rich blend of influences, and singles like “Time On My Hands” serves as a standout example of the album’s depth. It’s a fitting anthem for savoring the slower moments in life, which also feels like the essence of the Wilder Woods project as a whole.

Now, as The Curioso Tour looms on the horizon, it’s clear that Wilder Woods is a journey not just through music—but through life’s quieter, more thoughtful spaces. In a world that often demands constant movement, Rinehart seems to have found solace in slowing down.

Maybe we could all benefit from stepping away from the constant noise (unless, of course, that noise is Wilder Woods).
